Grammar

I almost forgot, I'd like everyone who does not have an English Grammar book at home to buy one. It's really important for you. Our class Grammar book sonly has a small part of what you need to know. There's nothing in it about articles, prepositions etc...

also, check out: owl.english.purdue.edu

Last Friday, I went to Jeff's house with my friends and ate chinese syabusyabu. Syabusyabu is a one-pot dish made at the table by cooking vegetables and slices of meat in boiling soup. I have eaten Japanese syabusyabu several times, but I had never eaten Chinese syabusyabu the day before. It was different from Japanese syabusyabu, but I liked it. Actually, I don't like meat, but I was satisfied with delicious vegetables. I think all of us had a ball at Jeff's house.

Natsumi,

Nice job! I've eaten Japanese Shabu Shabu many times. We used to go to a Shabu Shabu restaurant in the Nikko Hotel in Kawasaki. It was wonderful. I, however, have never had Chinese Shabu Shabu. It sounds good. I'd love to try it.
Maybe I will.
